Anna has more knitting machines than I do, and for years she asked if I have any projects for her. We worked out a method where I put together colors, and told her to switch one out every 10-20 rows. Each scarf will be different depending on what color Anna grabs for each color change. I do this all the time, but this was something new for Anna, so I had to convince her to not worry if the stripes don’t match, and if both ends are different. At first a bit hesitant, Anna learned to love the blends. We each found our favorite section in every scarf she knit.
These scarves are generously wide, long and very soft and fluffy. Perfect for him or her to wrap and wrap to keep the winter chill out.
I live surrounded by nature, my dream come true! After 11 years of living in a loft in Rīga center, I finally found a house in the countryside near where my grandfather was born, or rather... my house found me. I am where I belong.
I am knitting collections inspired by the amazing colors I see around me. You can't make it up, nature really does it best and my knitting as art lets me see, really see the incredible, breathtaking color compositions out there. Please join me on my journey.
