Winter Apples 3 cafe wrap
The first snow came in early October. Trees still had their leaves and the apple orchards were full of bright red, gold and green apples that ended up looking like ruddy faced elves wearing fluffy white snow hats. Absolutely magical. Every day I would see tracks in the snow of deer and wild boar as they grazed the apples. I had buckets of apples for myself that I sliced and dried in my bread oven. Crisp crunchy healthy snacks to keep me away from the candy jar:)
I love every minute of living closer to nature, closer to what is real and necessary in life. My kitchen has a wood burning stove, applesauce cooked on it is divine. Somewhere in the attic there is an electric hotplate, but I refuse to use it because food cooked on a real wood fire is just so much tastier. Yes it takes more time, but chopping wood is a full body workout and a good way to let off some steam.
If you come to visit, pancakes with apple butter will be waiting. If Latvia is a bit far, here are some apples in the snow for you to wear while you relax and dream your dreams of far away.

I use many thin strands of cotton, kid mohair and silk to “paint” my colors with yarn. The cafe wrap is soft and warm, and the chunky cotton keeps the breeze from your back.
29″ (74cm) wide and 38″- 52″ (97 – 132cm) top + bottom around will fit most everyone.
